1. Rules
1.1 Theregatta will be governed by the rules defined in The Racing Rules ofSailing(RRS) 2017- 2020.
1.2 Pleaseabide by club membership Rules and Regulations.
1.3 Anychange of the racing rules or special requirements for the race, will be announcedat skippers’ briefing each day of Racing.
1.4 Ifthere is a conflict between languages the Chinese text will take precedence.
1.5 ThisNotice of Race and Sailing Instructions and the changes of certain rules.

3. Schedule

11:00 Racebriefing (Lakeside Café)

4. RacingRules
4.1 TheSailing Instructions will be given out at the skippers’ briefing.
4.2 Thelatest time for sending out warning signal for next race is 16:00.
4.3 Therace committee reserves the right to cancel the race due to force majeure suchas weather condition.
5. Scoring
5.1 TheLow Point System will apply.
5.2 Atleast 3 boats are needed to form a race.
6. Safety
Theparticipants of this regatta should take their own responsibilities aboutpersonal safety and equipment safety. Competitor shall wear personal floatationdevices at all times while afloat.
7. Disclaimerand Liability
7.1 TheShanghai Yacht Club and Resort will not accept any responsibility for materialdamage or personal injury or death sustained in conjunction with or prior to,during, or after the Regatta. All competitors will participate at their ownrisk. See RRS Rule 4, Decision to Race.
7.2 Competitorsshould satisfy themselves that they have adequate personal and third-partyinsurance (at least 500,000RMB) for the duration of the event.
7.3 Ifyou don’t have insurance, the OA recommend CPIC (China Pacific Insurance Co.).You can contact Xiaoxi Shen to buy insurance.

8. EventFee
8.1 Members:free.
8.2 Non-members:100 RMB/person.
8.3 Thedeposit for non-members to charter a club dinghy is 1000 RMB.
