In an ever-changing world, we need to educate the next generation to be flexible and forward-thinking, whilst still remaining proud of their heritage and confident in their unique identity. 作为上海最成功的帆船俱乐部之一，美帆在户外教育领域有着很长的历史。 在我们12年来的运作中，我们看到了许多学生在水上和学业上都有出色的表现：在我们的毕业学员里，有考入牛津大学的学生，有丹麦国家帆船队的成员，还有很多学员都在他们生活的各个领域不断地取得成功。 我们的团队有来自剑桥大学和南京师范大学的硕士毕业生教练，非常适合培养青少年的发展。我们也坚信教育会培养年轻人为未来做好准备。
As the most established sailing club in Shanghai, Meifan has a long history of excellence in the field of outdoor education. In our 12 years of operation we have seen students excel both on and off the water: one of our alumni is a current Oxford undergraduate, another is a member of the Danish National Sailing Team, and many others have gone on to successes in all fields of life. Our team, comprising Masters graduates from Cambridge University and the University of Nanjing, are ideally positioned to support young people's development, and we believe passionately in education as a means of preparing young people for the future.

三地交界，交通便捷——上海美帆地处江、浙、沪三地交界处，距上海市区仅1小时车程，17地铁线东方绿洲站有班车接送，10分钟可达。
On the border between three provinces, transport is fast and convenient. Shanghai Yacht Club is situated on the boundary between Shanghai, Jiangsu, and Zhejiang, and is only one hour by car from downtown Shanghai, or 10 minutes drive from Line 17 Dongfangluzhou station.
近郊氧吧，绿化率高——俱乐部绿地覆盖率高达98%，花园式营地让生活在高楼大厦里的小朋友与自然亲密接触。湖中小岛更是天然的吸引力，学生可泛舟湖上，登岛观察自然。
A breath of fresh air - the club is situated in parkland, with 98% coverage of greenery. This environment gives kids who have always lived in the city a chance to get back to nature. Our lakeside location is naturally appealing, so students can have a great time both on and off the water.

No other sport offers the same combination of physical endurance and intellectual mastery that sailing does. In learning to sail, students not only gain physical fitness and stamina, but also mental agility, learning to be independent and flexible as they respond to the ever-changing environment afloat. Sailing is a never-ending process of learning about the natural world and how to be in harmony with it, and all areas of learning - from physics and geometry to history and environmental studies - are brought to life in this dynamic on-water environment. Sailing also fosters strong teamwork, communication and leadership skills, equipping young people with everything that they need to succeed both on the water and beyond.

All meals are prepared by our onsite chefs using freshly bought ingredients, including many locally-grown vegetables. Our menu is designed to combine great taste with balanced nutrition.

Students will stay in shared rooms in our spacious villas in Venice Gardens, watched over by our trained staff. We provide full cleaning and laundry service.
主干课程
航海入门至进阶，因材施教
2018年美帆帆船主题夏令营主干课程分【初级班】及【提高班】两个班级，以确保根据孩子不同的航海阶段因材施教地进行帆船教育。
2018 Summer Camps will be divided into Beginner and Advanced, in order to offer different levels of training to suit students' abilities.
航海初级班
每天包括半天的帆船训练和半天的其他活动，其他活动包括：划桨类运动，团队建设游戏;自然探索;和营地技能。
Each day includes half a day of sailing and half a day of other activities including: paddlesport; team-building games; nature exploration; and camp craft .
内容：装船，风的感知，航行技巧和动作，绳结，帆船理论，服装和装备，安全知识,成功归航。
Syllabus: rigging; wind awareness; basic sailing skills; knots; sailing theory; clothes and equipment; safety; leaving and returning to shore

航海进阶班

Advanced - for those who want to focus on taking their sailing to the next level. Classes will be flexibly designed according to students' abilities, with the aim of gaining an internationally recognised IYT certificate. Students will be tested on the first day, and then split into groups to work towards IYT Bronze, Silver, or one of the Gold modules depending on ability. This bespoke structure allows us to be completely flexible, and to focus on individual students' needs, helping them to develop their sailing whatever level they have previously reached. Prior sailing experience essential.

Our team-building games are designed to encourage communication and problem-solving; students will be given tasks to complete that require a combination of dexterity, flexibility, and lateral thinking in order to bring out their leadership and teamwork skills.
回归自然 Back to nature

Our Back to Nature class relies on children's natural curiosity to teach them about the environment in fun, interactive ways that will foster a love for the outdoors and a sense of responsibility for preserving our planet.
营地技能 Camp craft
这门课教授营地技能的基础知识，包括选择营地，搭帐篷，确保水源等。目的是让学生获得更大的独立感，以及对我们与户外世界的关系有更深的感受。
This class teaches the basics of camp craft including choosing a campsite, pitching a tent, securing a water source, etc. The aim is for students to gain a greater sense of independence and connection to the outside world.

亲水戏水，丰富多样
皮划艇/ 桨板 Kayaking/SUP
以一种安全且有趣的方式让学生熟悉水，发展他们的协调和沟通技巧，同时帮助他们建立在水上的信心。年龄较小的孩子们可以参加水上比赛来提高信心，而较大的孩子则有机会参加当地水道的探险活动。
Paddlesports introduce students to the water in a safe and fun way, developing their coordination and communication skills whilst giving them water confidence. Younger paddlers will play on-water games to improve their confidence, while older paddlers will get the chance to go on an expedition around the local waterways.
